Amanda Bynes has clarified that a recent alleged nude photo of her is totally fake.

The What a Girl Wants star, 36, had to clear up the rumor after a naked photo of a woman in a bathtub surfaced on a Twitter account this week.

The actress told TMZ that ‘she never takes nude photographs like the one circulating the Internet purporting to be her’ and has no connection to the page where the photo appeared.

In the photo, posted by Twitter user @PersianLa27, a naked woman with pink hair is seen from behind on all fours while taking a bath.

Bynes’ attorney, Tamar Arminak, stated that the star is not the woman in the photo, and that her legal team has been trying to deactivate the account for years with no success.

Arminak explained that Twitter has refused their requests to shut down the page based on the fact that the account is a ‘celebrity parody page’.

Amanda’s attorney also claimed that they appealed to Twitter during her nearly 9-year conservatorship – which ended on March 22, 2022 – but the social media platform did not yield to their requests.

‘There’s nothing funny about what she was going through mental health-wise and the fact Twitter thought it was appropriate to keep a parody account mocking what she was going through is disgusting,’ her lawyer stated.

The account is currently set to private, with only approved followers able to see the content.

It’s been a rough couple of weeks for the California-born beauty, who recently had an explosive argument with fiancé Paul Michael that ended with both parties calling 911.

Amanda had accused Paul of using drugs, watching disturbing pornography and vandalizing his mothers home after their spat.

She claimed in an Instagram post on Thursday, April 28, that Paul had stopped taking his medications and that she had ‘kicked him out’ of her house over his ‘alarming behavior.’

‘I’m afraid of what he’ll do,’ Amanda said, alleging that she found his ‘stash of crack cocaine’ and that he had put ‘salmon under’ his mom’s bed.

Paul reportedly called police to their home at 2:30am during a verbal dispute with the star and accused her of taking his Adderall and calling her ‘out of control,’ according to TMZ.

Amanda later took to her own social media to clarify comments she made in a short Instagram post. She posted a photo to social media which seemed to show the couple touching hands, each with an impressive ring shining on their fingers.

The caption read, ‘To clarify: I said what I said about Paul relapsing because he did. I don’t know when he got clean and because of the disturbing porn he was watching, I assumed he must be on drugs now.’

‘Also Paul did vandalize his mom’s home 2 weeks ago. His brother Mark called the cops on him but Paul left before they got there. When I saw the mom and son porn on Paul’s phone, I got upset and kicked him out. When he left I was worried he would vandalize my home because he still had the keys. That’s why I called the police.

‘At any rate, I shouldn’t have said he’s currently using, because he’s been sober for 2 weeks. Also, he told me he searched milfs and the other content auto filled the search engine.’

The two have since made up and have been recently spotted stepping out together in Los Angeles, though people close to Bynes are reportedly concerned about Michael’s behavior and worried about his temper.

According to a report by TMZ on Friday, April 29, sources said that they feared the pair’s relationship could potentially end violently, and that Paul has a history of losing his temper.

Amanda and Michael met at her former sober living home in late 2019, and announced their engagement on Valentine’s Day 2020.
